Compare two offline observationsDiagnose lower earnings
Use your current game values. Numeric cases below are illustrative; exact game rates and prices have not been independently tested.
What is confirmed
The developer says properties keep earning while you are away. A public official offline percentage or cap was not available in the sources reviewed. Do not assume that a percentage on an older guide applies to your account.
Distinguish displayed hourly income, actual offline earnings and collectible income. If these differ, using the displayed rate alone may overstate what you receive.
Run a controlled check
- Record the property, displayed rate, active bonuses and collectible balance.
- Leave for a measured interval without buying anything or changing the setup.
- On return, record the change before claiming unrelated rewards.
- Divide the property-income increase by elapsed hours.
- Repeat with a longer interval to investigate a possible cap.
A lower rate in a longer sample could indicate a cap, an expired bonus or another change. It does not by itself prove a fixed offline penalty. Compare conditions before drawing a conclusion.
Estimate a session
Use an effective hourly rate you have observed. If a collectible-income cap is confirmed, enter it; otherwise leave it blank. This model assumes a constant rate and no ownership changes.
Turn the result into a decision
Illustration: an observed 2,000 cash per hour for eight hours gives 16,000 before any limit. A confirmed 10,000 cap would reduce collectible income to 10,000. These are demonstration values.
If a cap is reached long before you return, increasing hourly income may not improve that absence. Consider a different collection interval where practical. Use the session checklist to record what to check before leaving, and return to property comparisons with the effective rate.
Why did a longer absence earn less per hour?
Compare two offline observations
Enter only the new property income earned during each absence. Use the same property setup and effects. Clear any pre-existing collectible balance before measuring, or subtract it from the ending balance.
Two observations can reveal a discrepancy. They cannot by themselves establish a permanent cap or offline percentage.

Interpret the discrepancy before changing your build
| Observation | Possible explanation | Next check |
|---|---|---|
| Same earnings after 4h and 8h | A limit, interrupted earning or collection behavior | Repeat under the same effects; inspect the cap message |
| Same hourly average at both durations | Compatible with a constant rate over these intervals | A later cap is still possible |
| Long sample has a lower hourly average | A limit or conditions changed | Check bonuses, ownership and starting balance |
| No new income in either sample | Setup, collection or measurement problem | Confirm ownership and the correct income balance |
Illustration: A earns 8,000 in four hours and B earns 12,000 in eight. Their averages are 2,000/hour and 1,500/hour. Continuing A’s average for eight hours would produce 16,000; B is 4,000 below that reference. Calling 12,000 “the cap” from these two readings alone would overstate the evidence.
Collect a third observation with the same starting balance and active effects. If multiple durations stop near the same amount, a ceiling becomes a stronger hypothesis. If an effect expired halfway through, investigate bonus scope and duration first. Do not change the property and collection interval in the same test.
Apply this to your next decision
A measured offline rate is useful when calculating the time to your next target. Use your effective income in a saving decision →
A duplicated multiplier can make measured earnings appear too low. Check whether income already includes a bonus →
